World Elder Abuse Awareness Day 2014

6 WEEKS UNTIL WEAAD…
World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) will be here before you know it!

Join us in making this year’s WEAAD the strongest showing of solidarity to date. Every week between now and June 15th we will highlight something that you can do to commemorate, honor and remember the millions of elders and adults with disabilities who are abused, neglected and financially exploited in the United States every year.

ABUSE CANNOT SURVIVE WHERE RESPECT RESIDES
Join our Facebook Campaign
Share a picture of your parents, grandparents, or an older adult in your life and tell us something that you respect about them. Because abuse cannot survive where respect resides! Add our hashtags #1U1Act1Nation #WEAAD2014 and share to your own Facebook page, or ours to stand united against elder abuse. Invite a friend to participate too. This is an easy and fun way to stand united against elder abuse.  NCEA on Facebook
